Obituary ....

Mrs. Otto Sachse of Near Jackson Succumbs
Jackson Bureau, The Missourian.

Jackson, June 12 -- Mrs. Otto Sachse, 61 years old, died suddenly this morning at 4:15 o'clock at her home five miles west of Jackson. Mrs. Sachse succumbed to a heart attack and she had treatment for the ailment for a number of months.

Mrs. Sachse formerly, Miss Bertha Rosetta Wapperswiller, was born three miles south of Gordonville, November 24, 1884, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wapperswiller. She affiliated early in womanhood with the Christ Lutheran Church and was an active member of the church. She married Mr. Sachse on January 1, 1915, and resided on a farm on Highway 25 until a few years ago when they moved to the John Kasten farm west of Jackson.

Surviving is her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Jesse McClard who is at present at home, one grandson; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Amelunke of Gordonville.

The body will remain at the McCombs Funeral Home until time for removal to the Christ Lutheran Church where the funeral will be conducted by the Rev. C. E. Miller, the pastor. Definite time of the service is pending word from Jesse McClard, in service, her son-in-law who is in port at Astoria, Ore., and who was notified this morning of the death.
