Obituary ....
Joe C. Renne, 62 years old, a farmer of the Gordonville community, died Sunday afternoon at a hospital in Cape Girardeau. He had been a patient at the hospital for two weeks.
Mr. Renne farmed north of Gordonville for many years. He was born in that community January 18, 1901, and was a son of William Renne and Elizabeth Kester Renne. He married Miss Helen Siemers, November 14, 1925.
Surviving are his wife, four sons and five grandchildren. The sons are Charles Renne of Kennett and Robert Renne of Gordonville and Donald and John, at home.
The body is at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home and will be taken to Christ Lutheran Church at Gordonville at noon on Tuesday. Services will be at the church at 2, and burial will be at the church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Ludwig will conduct the rites. |
