Obituary ....

Mrs. Helen Renne of Gordonville Route 1, died Tuesday afternoon at 1 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was 72 years old.

Mrs. Renne, the former Miss Siemers, was born June 28, 1902, at Gordonville. On November 14, 1925, she was married to Joe C. Renne who died April 7, 1963.

She was confirmed on April 16, 1916, at Zion Lutheran Church, south of Gordonville, and following her marriage, she became a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville. She and her husband lived and farmed in the Gordonville community all of their married life.

Surviving: sons, Charles Renne, Kennett, Robert Renne, Jackson, Donald Renne, Gordonville and John Renne, Cape Girardeau; sister, Miss Nora Siemers, Cape Girardeau and five grandchildren.

Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville, Thursday afternoon at 2 by the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd, pastor. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

The body is at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, and will be taken to the church at 1 Thursday afternoon.
