Obituary ....

Mrs. M. Kaiser Dies; Funeral to Be Friday

Mrs. Minnie Kaiser, 76 years old, of Gordonville, wife of Louis Kaiser, died Monday night at 8 o'clock at a hospital here. She had been a medical patient at the hospital since June 4.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Christ Lutheran Church at Gordonville with the pastor, Rev. O. H. Pooker, conducting. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Ford-Young Funeral Home but will not be viewed until Thursday afternoon.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Kaiser leaves four sons, Oscar C. Kaiser of Cape Girardeau, George W. Kaiser of Manchester, N. H., Walter H. Kaiser of Detroit, Mich., and Harold M. Kaiser of Gary, Ind.; two daughters, Mrs. E. C. Doherty of Jackson Heights, N. Y. and Mrs. Bernard Currie of St. Louis; two brothers, Herman Klaus and August Klaus of Farrar; two sisters, Mrs. E. G. Eggers of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Edna Sycott of St. Louis; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Born at Friedham on March 1, 1877, she was united in marriage to Mr. Kaiser on April 1, 1895 at Friedham. They had resided at Gordonville since 1936, going there from St. Louis. Prior to living in St. Louis they resided in Cape Girardeau for a number of years.
