Obituary ....

Mrs. Alma M. Koch, 83 years old, formerly of Gordonville died Saturday morning at Cape LaCroix Manor in Cape Girardeau, where she had been a resident for three weeks.

The daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Probst of Gordonville, she was born here on March 26, 1898

She married Jacob L. Koch on April 15, 1942, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1972.

Mrs. Koch was a bookkeeper at Jackson Exchange Bank. She retired in 1970. She was a member Ladies Aid of the Christ Lutheran Church of Gordonville and the Gordonville Homemakers club.

Survivors include a son, J. L. Koch Jr., Cape Girardeau; sisters, Mrs. Clem Kinder, Cape Girardeau, and Mrs. Arthur Hager and Mrs. Dorothy Macke, both of Gordonville; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Five brothers preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the Lorberg Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Service will ne held at 2 p.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville with the Rev. Roger Rohde officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Douglas, Gary and Stephen Koch, H. Weldon Macke, Ernest Nolte and Harlan Hager.
