Obituary ....

Norman M. Hager, of Route 3 Gordonville, died Saturday morning at his home. He was 82.

Born March 8, 1906 near Gordonville, he was the son of Phillip and Sophie Siemers Hager.

He was a lifetime resident of the Gordonville area and a well known farmer. He also worked at Marquette Cement.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville where he was a lifelong member of the board of elders and a member of the building committee for the present church building.

Mr. Hager was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post in Jackson, a member of Farm Bureau, and a past board member of the Lutheran Home.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lilian Nenninger of Gordonville; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Jewel Hager, of Farmington; and a large number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Charles Minetree officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body is at Ford and Sons where friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today.
