Obituary ....

Mrs. Olga Hofious, wife of Rev. Walter Hofious, died Sunday evening at 6 o'clock at her home in Union, Mo., after a long illness. caused by a complication of diseases. Funeral arrangements had not been completed this morning, but an undertaker from here left for Union to take charge. Services will be held at the Lutheran church at Union where Rev. Hofious is the pastor and then the body will be transferred to this city. Interment will be made at Gordonville.

Mrs. Hofious was born at Gordonville November 8, 1900, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Seimers. On the 24th day of May she married to Rev. Hofious and took up her residence at Union. She is survived by an infant son, her father and stepmother, one brother, Gus Siemers, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Wilson of Jackson, and Mrs. Lillian Oppitz of Petoskey, Mich., her grandfather, Christian Stein of Jackson, and numerous other relatives in this county and at other places.

Hofius Burial to Be at Gordonville
The body of Mrs. Walter Hofius will be taken to Gordonville for burial Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Hofius died at her home in Union, Mo., after a lingering illness of several weeks. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, at the Lutheran church.

The deceased is survived by a father, step-mother, two sisters, one brother, an age grandfather and a small child two years old. Mrs. Hofius has many friends of Cape Girardeau and Jackson.
