Obituary ....

Mrs. Henry Luehring Of Gordonville Dies

Mrs. Augusta Luehring, 72 years old, wife of Henry Luehring of Gordonville, died at 9:30 a.m. today at the family home following an illness of six years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Christ Lutheran Church at Gordonville. The body is at the Ford-Young Funeral Home.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son Elmer Luehring of Cape Girardeau; two half brothers and two half-sisters and four grandchildren.

Born at Topeka, Kas., August 6, 1879, Mrs. Luehring was a daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Proft of Topeka. She was married to Mr. Luehring on November 17, 1901, at Gordonville. She was a charter member of the church there and an active worker in the Ladies Aid of the church until her health failed. Mr. Luehring is a retired painter and mill worker.
