Obituary ....
Mrs. Frieda Nussbaum of Whitewater, 67 years old, died in a Cape Girardeau hospital Thursday afternoon at 2:30 where she was admitted Wednesday night.
Mrs. Nussbaum, the former Miss Maag, was born March 28, 1901, in the Tilsit community.
On November 28, 1920, she was married to Leo Nussbaum, who died March 7, 1959.
They lived in Cape County most of their married life, mainly in the Whitewater community.
Surviving are three sons, Rudy Nussbaum and Truman Nussbaum, Whitewater, and Robert Nussbaum, Jackson Route 2; nine daughters, Mrs. William Mateka, St. Louis, Mrs. Hilbert Kraemer, St. Charles, Mrs. Otto Amelunke, Oak Ridge, Mrs. Collen Felden, Cape Girardeau, Mrs. Walter Henk, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Bill Craft, Jackson, Mrs. Leroy Sadler, Mrs. Frank Burns and Mrs. Leroy Sadler, Mrs. Richard Peel, Jackson Route 1; three brothers, L. W. Maag and Otto Maag, Jackson, and Alvin Maag, Chaffee, and 38 grandchildren.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville, where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 by the Rev. Robert Olson, pastor.
Burial is to be in the church cemetery.
The body is at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, and will be taken to the church at 1 Sunday.

Pallbearers for the funeral of Mrs. Frieda Nussbaum Sunday afternoon were Earl Peetz, Marvin Peetz, Melvin Eggimann, Glen Eggimann, Clarence Grebing and Joe Hoffmeister.
The rites were held at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville, with the Rev. Robert Olson officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nussbaum died Thursday. |
