Obituary ....

Mrs. Ella Elizabeth Maag, widow of August Maag, died at a Cape Girardeau hospital this morning. She was 73 years old.

Mrs. Maag was born October 6, 1892, at Burfordville, the daughter of William and Marzella Young Houck.

She was married to Mr. Maag at Zion Methodist Church near Gordonville, and they lived in the Gordonville community. Mr. Maag died December 30, 1963.

Surviving are two sons, Lawrence Maag, Gordonville, and William Maag, Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Nora) Brugger, Jackson, and Mrs. Willie (Ruby) Borgfield and Mrs. Harold (Lillian) Bohnert, Perryville; a sister, Mrs. Hester Maag, Granite City, Ill.; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

A prayer service will be held at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson Sunday afternoon at 12:30, after which the body will be taken to the Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville for services at 2.

The Rev. Robert Olson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
