Obituary ....
Mrs. Louise Kerstner, native of Gordonville and the last member of her immediate family, died this morning in a nursing home here. She was 87 years old.
Mrs. Kerstner, the former Miss Siemers, was born January 1, 1881. On May 26, 1898, she was married to Martin Kerstner. He died January 27, 1965.
They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary May 30, 1948.
Mrs. Kerstner was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Gordonville, and the last charter member of the church's Ladies Aid Society.
Funeral services will be in the church at 2 Monday afternoon with church pastor, the Rev. Robert Olson, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Kerstner were held Monday afternoon at the Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville, by the Rev. Robert Olson, pastor.
Burial was in the church cemetery with arrangements by McCombs Funeral Home, Jackson,
Serving as pallbearers were Melvin Bacon, Albert Gross Jr., Norman Eggimann, Walter Hanschen, Ed Winkler and Leo Sander.
Mrs. Kerstner died Saturday. |
